Hi, I'm Abdelrahman Rawhy
I clean and explore data with Python and Pandas, turn it into clear charts and dashboards, and build websites with WordPress and Elementor.
Turning data into clear answers
I work with data as a data scientist and analyst. Most recently I was Head of Data Science at VERSE, and before that I completed the Data Scientist internship at DEPI and internships at CIB Egypt and ITWORX Education.
I’m finishing my studies at Sadat Academy for Management Sciences (graduating June 2027). I enjoy taking messy data and turning it into something people can understand at a glance.
Where I've worked and trained
Head of Data Science
VERSE · Hybrid, Cairo
Led the data science activities: coordinated projects, mentored team members, and built data pipelines and analytical reports that supported decisions.
Data Scientist Intern
Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative (DEPI) · Hybrid
Built data science projects with Python and SQL, applying machine learning and statistical analysis to real datasets, including the Telecom Churn Dashboard. Presented findings to mentors and peers.
Internship Trainee
CIB Egypt · Remote
Took part in the Human-Centric Interpersonal Skills, Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurial Skills, and Emerging Talent for the Future Workplace programs, with exposure to banking operations.
Software Tester Intern
ITWORX Education · Hybrid
Designed and ran test cases for educational software, supported test automation, reported bugs and worked with developers to improve product quality.
What I work with
Python
Writing scripts and small apps to load, clean and work with data.
NumPy
Fast calculations on arrays of numbers.
Pandas
Cleaning, filtering, grouping and summarizing tables of data.
Matplotlib
Turning data into clear, readable charts.
Soft skills
Leadership
Led the data science team at VERSE and mentored its members.
Communication
Presenting data insights to mentors and peers, backed by the OTO Business English certificate.
Teamwork
Working closely with developers at ITWORX Education and with teams in student activities.
Event coordination

Things I've built
Telecom Customer Churn Dashboard
An interactive dashboard that explores why telecom customers leave. It has an overview of the data, a data explorer, model insights and a page that predicts churn for a customer. Built as part of the DEPI program.
Movie Success Predictor
Enter a movie’s budget and expected ratings, and the app estimates its revenue, profit and chance of success using a dataset of movies. I also built a second version with a bolder design.
Law firm website
An Arabic website for a law practice, with legal consultations, a digital book and a blog. Built in WordPress and Elementor without hand-written code, with help from AI tools.
This portfolio website
My own site, built in WordPress and Elementor without hand-written code, with help from AI tools. It works on phones and computers and has a light and dark mode you can switch from the header.
